You can almost feel the excitement in the air as a new major family attraction called Anakeesta prepares to debut in Gatlinburg! This amazing new attraction consists of several activities for guests to enjoy, starting with a scenic chairlift or gondola ride to the top of Anakeesta Mountain. Once at the top, you can explore a magic treehouse with retail stores, ziplines and more! Enjoy spectacular views of Mt. LeConte and the sparkling lights of downtown Gatlinburg.
How to Get to Anakeesta Mountain
Guests can access Anakeesta Mountain directly from the Parkway via a unique aerial lift called a Chondola! The base of the lift is situated in the heart of downtown at traffic light #5, just across the street from Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. From the base, the Chondola transports guests on a 12 minute ride and 600 feet above downtown Gatlinburg to the top of Anakeesta Mountain with gorgeous views of the Great Smoky Mountains. The awesome thing about the Chondola is that you can choose to ride up in an open air quad chair lift or in the privacy of a 6 person enclosed gondola cabin!

Upon arriving at the summit of Anakeesta Mountain, there are many activities and adventures for guests to check out! Whether you want to shop, ride a mountain coaster or simply enjoy the tremendous views, there is something for everyone at this 70 acre natural forested playground!
