Gatlinburg Itinerary From Start To Finish
There are many activities to do in Gatlinburg, but if you only have one day, here is the perfect itinerary. We broke it down by time frame to fit easily into your schedule. In addition, check out the map to go along with the itinerary – enjoy!
Breakfast At Southern Comfort | 8 am – 9 am
Gatlinburg’s newest comfort food restaurant Southern Comfort®! Get ready for the authentic taste of the south with southern cooking and comfort foods we all love. My personal favorite, of course, has to be the pancakes. The setting at Westgate Resorts is Southern Charm at its finest!
Head To Parkway In Downtown Gatlinburg & Explore | 9 am – 11 am
You can stroll Downtown Gatlinburg for hours with all the different shops and attractions that line the Parkway. Go sample some of the distilleries, pop into local shops, or try some of Gatlinburg’s most prized desserts and treats.
Go Explore Anakeesta | 11 am – 2 pm
Explore the mountain top of this 70 acre theme park – with ziplining, a mountain coaster, and many more attractions including scenic views. You can pretty much cover most if not all of it in 3 hours depending on the season you go!
Hit Up Ober Gatlinburg | 2 pm – 5 pm
Ober Gatlinburg has 15+ attractions and is Tennessee’s #1 destination for skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing! There are plenty of activities to do at Ober during every season. Similar to Anakeesta, depending on what attractions you want to cover you can spend 2-3 hours and be satisfied to go to the next attraction.
Gatlinburg Skylift Park | 5 pm – 7 pm
Gatlinburg Skylift Park is a gem when it comes to scenic views especially sunsets. There is only one way up and one way down via the chairlift a you soar high up the mountain! Overall your fear of heights will be tested.
Dinner Show At Pirates Voyage | 7 pm – 9 pm
Crimson and Sapphire crews battle on land, on deck, in water and high above full-sized pirate ships in an indoor hideaway lagoon. Enjoy hours of fun entertainment with your family at Pirates Voyage!
